Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have an 89 ranger xlt 2.3 and the stock radio was on its way out , LCD display stopped working, so I decided to buy a new one today. I didn't buy the wiring harness besides the one that the new radio came with. Big mistake. Yea I cut the wires. So i look up the wire diagram, connect them to the wiring harness to the new radio, but the radio only plays out of my passenger door speaker and it won't turn up above a whisper without making some awful noise. I did have 5 wires lest over that I didn't have a new home for on the wire harness , I couldn't find them anywhere. One was a orange/black, a thick red one, an orange one, a blue/white, and a blue/red. Please help I need my radio.
